Brightside in the sporting community
Brightside sponsors the sporting community
Loungers – Brightside’s parent company – has always been a proactive member of the local community. Its charity juggernaut ‘LoungeAid’ raised £200,000 this year and they regularly host endless drop-ins, outreach events and fund-raising activities across the Lounge Cafe Bar estate.
So it was only natural that the Brightside team wanted to play a meaningful role in their communities.
Rugby fanatic, and Brightside Exeter Assistant Manager, Lewis Roberts suggested we build stronger ties with premier league club Exeter Chiefs, bringing the Brightside experience to hungry, travelling supporters.
That made sense and we’ve seen many a dedicated Chiefs fan drop in pre- and post-match to line their stomach before a few pints of Guinness, or celebrate with an all-day brunch after a much needed win (a rare occasion last season!).
This Autumn, we’re launching a campaign across the South West – and nearby our Brightside Ram Jam restaurant – to reach and refuel travelling sports teams (and their supporters), that will see Brightside become a key sponsor of grass-roots sports across the region.
Whether it was a thumping victory or a rain-soaked defeat, aspiring players need refreshment, and Brightside fits the bill when it comes to keeping this crowd happy.
Look our for our distinctive pitch side banners at the participating grounds, and don’t forget to enjoy a 10% discount at any Brightside if you are a member of any of the organisations below.
